Merry Christmas




DSC_0185-1Hi Everyone, Jackie here and do you know it's 4 months before Christmas Eve. So I thought another Christmas card was in order, showing the Winter Birds and Holly Branch Peel-Offs.
Instructions:
1. Create card base from brown cardstock. Cut 7"x 10" rectangle; score and fold in half (5"x7" finished card size).
2. Cut stripe paper 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". Cut green paper 4 1/4"x 6 1/4" and adhere it using Double-sided Adhesive on a slant as shown. Cut brown script paper 4"x 6" again adhere it using Double-sided Adhesive on a slant as shown. Adhere green seam binding ribbon to the right hand corner along with bow. Adhere to brown card base using Double-sided Adhesive.

3. Place black birdhouse and black pine branch Peel-Offs onto white cardstock with Double-sided Adhesive on top. Cover peel-offs with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and polish glitter with your finger. Use a brush to brush of the excess glitter. I then colored my birdhouse and pine branch with TomBow Markers as shown in Els's video HERE.
4. Place Double-sided Adhesive onto white cardstock. Take Sprig with Berries Die and cut it out twice using the metal adapter plate to cut out intricate dies as shown by Els here

5. After taking off the release paper, apply Leaf Green and Regal Green Silk Microfine Glitter together as a mixture and burnish well with finger. Brush off excess glitter.

6. Cut out Merry Christmas using Merry Christmas die (745) using Black Velvet Adhesive sheet and adhere as shown.

Christmas Ornaments

Good Morning Everyone, It's Jackie and today I'm showing you these lovely Christmas Ornament Sceneries as well as Winter Bird Peel-Off stickers which fits perfectly with the newest accordion die by Karen Burniston called 'Ring Accordion'.
Instructions:
1. Cut two accordion pages out of brown cardstock using the Ring Accordion die. Cut out 4 scalloped edges for each circle accordion using blue paper as shown.

2.  Cut two more accordion pages using the same die out of patterned paper. We're going to use these to create 2 circles for the centre, trim the two small side tabs of each circle. Now assemble you card as shown in the picture below.Adhere using Double-sided Adhesive Sheet. For more info on how to assemble the Accordion card, watch Karen Burniston’s video HERE.
IMG_12053. Now it's time to create the Winter Birds and Christmas Ornaments Sceneries. To create the ornaments, apply 1 Winter Birds (sku 8546) Peel-offs, 1 Christmas Ornaments Sceneries and 1 bow (sku 8502) onto white cardstock with Double-sided Adhesive on top. Cover peel-offs with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and polish glitter with your finger. Use a brush to brush of the excess glitter. I then colored my Winter Bird, Christmas Ornaments Sceneries and bow with TomBow Markers as shown in Els's video HERE. Once colored, cut out Ornaments & bow and adhere to first and second page of your Accordion card using foam tape. Adhere bow using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.

4. Take a Quickie Glue pen and add glue to the circle edge & scalloped edges, add Turquoise Silk Microfine Glitter to the inside circle and Deep Turquoise Silk Microfine Glitter to the scalloped edge as shown.IMG_1203-1

Elizabeth Craft Designs July Challenge - To use a Stand Up Helper


 I'm back with another project for Elizabeth Craft Designs July Challenge. This month's challenge is to create a project or a card using a Stand-up Helper. 


Instructions:  Autumn Card
1. Cut brown cardstock 4 1/4"x 11". Score at
2 3/4", 5 1/2" and 8 1/4".
2. Cut Orange cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere it to the base using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.
3. Cut Yellow cardstock 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere it to the orange paper using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.
4. Apply sticker to centre of yellow paper. Apply red Glitter border around the  yellow paper.
5. Take Double-sided Adhesive sheets and apply to white paper. Adhere black Pumpkin Peel-Offs (sku 2538) and black Leaves (sku 0437) to adhesive. Add Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and burnish with finger. Colour with Tombow Markers as shown by Els here.






















6.Place Oak Leaf Stand-up Helper at the 2 3/4" score line as shown by Els in this YouTube video here.  I placed Oak Leaf Stand-up Helper  3 different locations along the score line.
7. Apply Take Double-sided Adhesive sheets and apply to white paper. Cut out using Oak Leaf Stand-up Helper.  Apply Leaf Green, Orange and Yellow Silk Microfine Glitter to the Stand-up Helpers as shown. Burnish with finger.
8. Cut orange cardstock 2 1/2"x 4" adhere it to the base using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.  Cut green cardstock 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" adhere it to the orange paper using Double-sided Adhesive sheets. Apply extra pumpkin and leaves as shown.























Here is another card using a Season's Greetings Stand-up Helper. It works the same way as the Oak Leave.




Instructions:  Christmas Card

1. Cut brown cardstock 4 1/4"x 11". Score at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" and 8 1/4".
 2. Cut yellow cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere it to the base using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.
3. Cut red cardstock 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere it to the yellow paper using Double-sided Adhesive sheets
4. Cut blue snowflake paper adhere it to the red paper using Double-sided Adhesive. Apply red Glitter border around the  yellow paper.
5. Add silver snowflake Peel-Offs to blue cardstock.
6. Take Double-sided Adhesive sheets and apply to white paper. Adhere black Gift Peel-Offs (sku 2544) to adhesive. Add Cool Diamond Silk  Microfine Glitter and burnish with finger. Colour with Tombow Markers as shown by Els here.  Apply Purple Glitter Assorted Dots on Gifts as shown. Place in between Pine Trees as shown.
7. Cut red stripe cardstock 2 1/2"x 4" adhere it to the base using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.  Cut cardstock 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" adhere it to the red stripe paper using Double-sided Adhesive sheets. Apply red Glitter border around the red stripe paper.
8. Cut out Season's Greetings and Merry Christmas using Red Velvet Adhesive Sheet. Apply Season's Greetings onto brown Season's Greetings. Apply Merry Christmas to the top of card along with another cut out using Black Velvet Adhesive Sheet.

























9. Take Double-sided Adhesive sheets and apply to white paper. Cut out Pine trees twice using ECD 5 part pine (755).


Remove adhesive and apply Leaf Green Silk Microfine Glitter to one and Regal Green Silk to other as shown. Apply Scrap Dots 3-Dimensional adhesive as shown by Els in this video here. Apply Pine trees as shown using pop up dots on the front as shown.

Christmas in July!

Hi, It's Jackie and I'm back showing you another Christmas card using the newest Candle die by Elizabeth Craft Designs. Christmas is one my favourite time of the year and these Graphic 45 papers coordinate really well with the candle die.
Instructions:
1. Create card base from black cardstock. Cut 7" x 10" rectangle, score and fold in half (5"x7" finished card size).
2. Cut Holly paper 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". Sponge edges and adhere to card base using double-sided adhesive.
3. Cut cream word paper 4 1/2" x 6 1/2". Sponge edges and adhere to Holly paper.
4. Using the Accordion Oval Card by Karen Burniston, cut one accordion page out of black candle paper. Cut out middle oval and trim long side tab leaving just the outside frame. Adhere to card using dimensionals.
5. Cut candle from Red Velvet Adhesive. Cut flames from Yellow Iridescent and Orange Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz. Apply double-sided adhesive to white cardstock and cut out candle drippings. Remove release sheet, apply Solar Gold Silk Microfine Glitter and burnish with your finger. Assemble candle and adhere to card.

6.  Cut Holly Leaves and Berries from Green and Red Velvet Adhesive as shown. Apply PanPastel using small applicator using Phthalo Green X-Dark and Phthalo Blue S/Shade to add some shading.

7. Cut 2 Holly Borders from Green Velvet Adhesive. Adhere to both sides of the oval. Add Red Glitter Dots as shown.

8. Cut out holly leaves from paper called 'Calling Birds'. Cut berries using the Holly Leaves & Berries from Red Velvet Adhesive. Adhere to card using dimensionals. Adhere Transparent Glitter Borders along the green Holly paper as shown.

Hello Rubber Ducky!

DSC_0110-1Hi Everyone, it's Jackie and I'm showing you a sneak peek of two new dies by Elizabeth Craft Designs that will be available mid-July. With Graphic 45  paper collection called 'By the Sea' I thought this paper line would be a good way to show off the new Rubber Ducky (920) and Rainy Day (928).
Instructions:
1. Create card base from Navy cardstock. Cut 5.5"x 11" square.; fold and score in half ( 5.5 " Square card size).
2. Cut  'Set Sail' 5 1/4" square. Adhere to navy paper using Double-sided Adhesive. Cut Red paper 5" square and adhere to 'Set Sail' paper.
3. Cut 'Beachcomer' paper  4 3/4" square. Place Karen Burniston's Accordion Circle Card die in the middle. Run thru Big Shot. Adhere on red paper using  pop up dots. Cut out middle shown by Karen Burniston video seen here. Flip over the circle and adhere to middle of circle.
4.  Use Wendy Vecchi reinkers in the following colours Cornflower Blue and Forget-Me-Not plus Tim Holtz's Silver Mixative onto Ranger Teflon sheet. Spray with Rubbing Alcohol, so colours spread. Take white cardstock and swish thru colours as shown.DSC_0126-15. Cut out bubbles using Blue Velvet Sheet and adhere them to the colour background as shown. Place in Damask embossing folder and run thru Big Shot machine.  Cut out circle using largest die from Accordion Circle Card. Adhere using pop up dots. Sponge blue ink on top of the embossed areas and sponge black ink along the edges.
6. Cut Rubber Ducky and his wing out using Yellow Velvet paper, cut eye out using Black Velvet Sheets. Cut beak out using Orange paper. Sponge Diarylide Yellow, Orange and Red Iron Oxide PanPastel to add more dimension as shown.

7. Apply Double-sided Adhesive to white paper, cut umbrella using the umbrella die from the set called 'Rainy Day' (928). Apply Sky and Blue Purple Silk Microfine Glitter alternating between colors. Cut out handle using Black Velvet Sheets from the set called 'Rainy Day'.
8. Cut out boots using Yellow Velvet Sheets from the set called 'Rainy Day'. Cut the overlay using Amethyst Gemstone Shimmer Sheetz from the set called 'Rainy Day'.
9. Cut bubbles using the newest Light Blue Metallic Shimmer Sheetz and apply them using a Quickie Glue Pen. Cut out 'Hello' from the die called Hello Stand Up Helper using Light Blue Metallic Shimmer Sheetz, apply as shown.
10. Take Glitter Icicles (sku 7064) and colour them using Tombow Markers 371 and 397 for waves. Apply them on the bottom of card  as shown.

Quick Sneak Peek

 Here is another card showing some new dies that Elizabeth Craft Designs is releasing 43 new dies and dies sets (including 16 designed by Karen Burniston), two new Shimmer Sheetz colors, and a new Shimmer Sheetz Sampler Pack. Dies will be available in stores mid July. Instructions:
1. Create card base from brown cardstock. Cut 7"x 10" rectangle; score and fold in half (5"x 7" finished card size.)
2. Cut Brown text paper 4 3/4"x 6 3/4". Attach using Double-sided Adhesive sheets to base.
3. Cut Green flower paper 4 1/2"x 6 1/2". Attach using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.
4. Cut Coral dot paper 4 1/4" x 6 1/4". Attach using Double-sided Adhesive sheets.
5. Cut Green/Coral flower paper 4"x 6". Place Karen Burniston's Accordion Oval Card die in the middle. Run it thru Big Shot machine. Cut out middle as Karen Burniston's YouTube video here. Place oval that is cut out in the middle using pop up dots.



6. Cut out Large Flower solid (3 times) from the Crystal Flower Set 1(924) using cardstock vellum. Cut out 1 Large Crystal Flower Overlay Set 1 using Light Blue Velvet Adhesive sheet. Cut out 1 Large Crystal Flower Overlay Set 2 using Pink Velvet Adhesive sheet. Adhere light blue and pink Velvet Adhesive  sheet  overlays onto large vellum flower as shown. 
7. Cut out small flower solid (3 times) from the Crystal Flower Set 1(924) using cardstock Vellum. Cut out 3 Overlays from the small Crystal Flower Overlay Set 2 using Light Blue Velvet, Pink Velvet and Light Green Velvet Adhesive Sheets. Adhere to the small vellum flowers. Cut out 3 small overlays from the set Crystal Flower Overlay Set 1 using cardstock vellum as shown. Place the 3 vellum overlays on top of all 3 flowers as shown.

8. Layer smaller flowers on top of bigger flowers using Pop up Dots. Adhere flowers as shown on card. Add liquid glue to each of the center of flowers, using Peony Pink, Leaf Green and Turquoise Silk Microfine Glitter.



9. Stamp 'Take Time to Enjoy" sentiment using black pigment ink and emboss using clear embossing powder. Cut it out using the largest decorative die from the set Accordion Oval Card. Sponge pink and green inks along the edge. Pop it up using pop up dots.
10. Add Transparent Gold Glitter borders as well as Transparent Gold Glitter Hearts as shown.
